Bus Drivers
For our church to grow, we must reach out to the community and one of the best ways to do that is through our bus ministry. If you can help with driving, we could certainly use you.
Christ's Hands
Christ’s Hands is a non-denominational, Christ centered organization that has been serving the needs of the people of Harlan County since 1998. Beginning with 20 meals served in the soup kitchen on the first night, Christ’s Hands has served over 350,000 meals, added a homeless shelter and an emergency food pantry. We are excited to be able to assist with this mission and currently volunteer at Christ's Hands each Monday. Visit http://christshandsky.org/ or contact us for more information about how you can make a difference! We honor the Lord by serving others with a willing and humble heart!
Visitation/Missions
We have a society that is in need; as Christians, it is our duty to reach out to them and help provide direction. Sometimes, just to know someone is thinking of them when they are sick, or that we miss them when they haven't been to our services in a while is all that it takes to help turn their life around. For those that are lost, we must do everything in our power to lead them to salvation. Through our men's and women's visitations, you can make a difference in someone's life so easily - you only have to be willing!
Nursery
We understand how hard it can be for families just to make it to church and then have to worry about taking care of their children during the service. We want everyone to feel comfortable and be able to focus on God's word without distractions. Taking care of the nursery is a special duty and we certainly appreciate those that help; with that being said, we don't want them to feel continually obligated nor do we want them to have miss each service. If you can help with this ministry, we would certainly appreciate it!
Ephesians 2:10 - We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
